I'm just about to start my second year at uni, which I'm pretty excited about. I get what you're saying, but I don't understand what the problem really is in the first place. Whether or not people have you on their watchlists has absolutely no affect on you whatsoever. If you want to clean up your message centre just delete members from your own list and it's a problem solved. Getting everyone else to remove you from their own lists doesn't affect you in ANY way. So it seems pointless to go around asking everyone to do so unless what you really want is simply attention.

Yesterday i read your comment but did not have enogh time to reply.
Your opinion on this matter made me start to question and consider more reasons why i was doing this. Now i do agree with some of the main points you brought up, like how i'm looking for attention, sub conciously i was looking attention because i felt everybody was looking pass me, i never felt that i was being recognize by others.

You brought some key points that none of my other friends nor i never consider about this topic we been discussing. So I would like to thank you for that.

But other users suggested that i just place everybody who watches me on my block list to remove myself from this list. I did not want to take this approach. I wanted to take my won approach, my way of handling this situation probably did not make any sense to you but it did to others who reply.

But in the end i was not trying to make you or anybody else feel guilty i just wanted the watchers to remove me if they did not feel like they needed to watch me any longer.

I find this message rather disagreeable. Firstly, I rarely use deviantart. I am very busy, particularly now that I am at university, and have my own projects that I want to work on.

If you feel that you are getting a raw deal by me not commenting on your work then I hardly feel I should apologise - I have a lot of deviants who I watch, some of whose work I follow closely, some who I discuss art and work with, and others whose work I simply enjoy. Already given my limited use of this website, it is unfair for you to expect me to pay close attention to everything you do or produce. There's a lot of deviants whose work I must look at, and I do not understand why you feel you should be given individual attention when others cannot.

You open this message by saying that this is not directed at me alone, but that does not change the fact that, by choosing to post it on my individual page, you have gone out of your way to post it to me individually.

What's more, the whole objective of this post does not make any sense. By removing you from my watchlist how, in any possible way, does this affect your use of the website? In fact, by simply removing me from your own watchlist you would not have to worry about the problem at all. There is absolutely no need to even post this message.

As a result, I feel this message is nothing more than an attempt to make me, among others, feel guilty about not paying enough attention to your work. This is something that I find rather childish.

Don't fell this is only being directed to you this being directed to everyone on who appear on my recent watchers list.
I love deviants art and reading their journals, and stuff, so when i watch a person my intention is too read and view and leave comments on their journal and art.
So when a deviant watches me. I'm only hoping the person would like to return the favor. But if you only watch just to watch me because i chose to watch you, then please do us both a favor and take me off your watchlist, because it is truthfully a waste of space, especially when you don't reply to some of my comment, journals, deviations, ect.
I know that there are some people with an exception who have fame here on DA and everybody leaves them comments, I don't blame them. I actually try and do them a favor by not commenting on their posts that often but taken a look at their work.
But if you are some of the excluded people from this category then i would appreciate it if you take this comment into a consideration if you have yet to respond to any of my other comments.
I know that i'm not perfect in any kind of way and that i don't get to every last journal, every last deviation, but i do give it my best to get to at least two to four of you submitted work a month.
After reading this deviation please, please start responding to the posts i make on mine and yours submitted work, or remove me from your watch list.

thanks Yeah, I'm doing well. In my second term at uni now, it's awesome! Lots of work, but loads of fun and exciting stuff going on - i tend to be doing something nearly every night!!

Not found a lot of time to do drawing at the moment, but I've been fitting it in where I can - Last of the Good's looking really good
